Powdermen Spirits Company is a family-owned and operated nano distillery nestled in the charming town of Simsbury, Connecticut. Since its founding in 2019, Powdermen has been crafting high-quality American-style corn whiskies, bourbon, and other spirits such as vodka. With a focus on using exclusively local corn & grain, ultra small-batch production, and attention to detail, this nano distillery brings a personal touch to every bottle.
Visitors are welcome to explore the distillery, enjoy tastings, and take a piece of Connecticut's finest spirits home with them.
Meet the Team
Frank & Vince Lucca are a father and son duo with a deep appreciation for bourbon and extensive experience in the explosives industry, both in manufacturing and using them in blasting.
In 2018, Frank embarked on fulfilling his lifelong dream of opening a distillery, focusing on developing recipes, proof of concept bourbon, and getting tooled up to craft their spirits with precision and passion.
In 2024, Vince left corporate America to use his engineering & operations expertise to build the family legacy & bring the distillery full time.
